I’ve lived with PCOS for decades. For most of my life, I believed I was handling it emotionally. I had learned to cope. To push forward. To accept things.
But a couple of years ago, I made a decision. I was going to fix my insulin resistance once and for all.
I went all in on medical keto. I followed it exactly. No cheating. No shortcuts. Total commitment.
And instead of improving, everything got worse.
I gained weight. I became physically weaker. I developed fatty liver. My insulin resistance didn’t improve — it deteriorated.
But what shook me most wasn’t just what happened physically.
It was what happened emotionally.
I felt betrayed by my body. Confused. Embarrassed. And honestly… lost.
As someone who has worked in the mind–body field for over 30 years, I understood something deeply:
When emotional experiences are not processed, they don’t disappear. They stay within us.
So I turned toward my own emotional healing. Slowly. Gently. Using the same tools I had spent decades helping others with.
And something shifted.
Not overnight. Not perfectly.
But gradually, I began to feel different inside myself.
More at peace. More accepting. Less at war with my body.
Over the past year, I’ve been quietly shaping a way to share this process in its most simple, accessible, and supportive form — so that other women living with PCOS could experience this kind of emotional change too.
That’s why I created these audio recordings.
These sessions create space for the emotional reality of living with PCOS — whatever that feels like for you.

I am a Reflexologist and EFT practitioner with over 30 years of experience in somatic and mind-body work.
I have also lived with PCOS since adolescence.
I live in Detroit, Michigan, where I run a private wellness practice.
My work has always focused on helping people safely process emotional experiences held in the body.
