The Pcos Space

THE PCOS SPACE

Navigating the Emotional Side of PCOS

Does This Feel Familiar…

Maybe you’ve hidden acne, facial hair, or body changes and felt self-conscious in public.

Maybe you’re exhausted from people telling you what to do, as if PCOS were a simple equation that you are too lazy to figure out.

Maybe you’re grieving the way this condition keeps showing up — weight, hormones, fatigue, fertility — and it feels like it never really lets go.

If any of this hits close to home, you’re not imagining it.
And you’re not weak for feeling worn down by it.

Before Anything Else — Hear This

🩷 You are not a personal failure.
🩷 You are not exaggerating what this feels like.
🩷 Emotional pain is real — even when no one sees it.
🩷 Living with PCOS is NOT easy, and it does impact us.
This space starts from that truth.

My name is Janice Robinson.

I’ve lived with PCOS for decades. For a long time I thought I was managing it well enough emotionally — until a couple of years ago when I decided I was going to “fix” my insulin resistance once and for all.

I went all in on Medical Keto. For one year, I did everything I was supposed to do — and when I say perfectly, I mean perfectly.

And the result? I gained weight. I felt weak and unwell. I developed fatty liver, it impacted my overall health, and made my insulin resistance worse.

Physically it was rough — but emotionally I was exhausted, confused, defeated, and lost.

As a practitioner for 30-plus years in the mind–body arena, one thing I know for sure:

When the emotional burden is ignored, the body keeps carrying it.

I spent months recovering from what happened to my body, but also what happened to my mind. Using all the techniques in my arsenal, I slowly but surely healed — and that’s why I’m here.

That journey pushed me to make a promise to myself:

I was going to use my knowledge and skill set to create something for the PCOS community that acknowledges and supports the emotional side — not as an afterthought, but as essential.

That promise became The PCOS Space Audio Recordings.

This is my most personal work — and my most important.

What These Recordings Are Here To Explore

These sessions are a place to look at what PCOS actually stirs up inside you…

What wears you down emotionally.
What feels unfair.
Why me?
What you carry silently.
What makes you angry, sad, or frustrated.
Do I have the strength to keep trying?
What confuses you or overwhelms you.

The goal is to give these feelings emotional space — so they can be understood, processed, and integrated in a way that lightens your load.

What Happens Inside a Session

Each recording follows a gentle emotional arc designed to help you move from awareness… to processing… to grounding… to reflection.

You might journal, tap, breathe, pause, or simply listen — all guided — so you’re never left wondering what to do next.

Some moments may feel reflective. Others may bring release, clarity, or unexpected insight. The intention is never to rush or fix anything, but to create safe space for emotions to move and settle.

Every session is structured — but human — allowing you to engage at your own pace without pressure or performance.

How the Recordings Work

A free full introductory audio session allows you to experience the process without pressure.

Additional recordings focus on specific emotional themes. You choose what resonates most and purchase only those particular sessions.

Each session is designed to stand on its own while also building emotional awareness and integration over time.

Audio Topics May Include

Body image
Pre-diagnosis confusion and overwhelm
Living with PCOS physically and how that impacts you emotionally

My Hope For You

If you choose to spend time with these recordings, my hope is simple.

That you feel a little less alone inside what you’re carrying.

That something you’ve been holding quietly gets acknowledged — even if only by you.

That you leave a session feeling a bit lighter, clearer, or more compassionate toward yourself.

I’m not here because I have everything figured out. I’m here because I’ve lived this, I’m still living it, and I know how heavy the emotional side of PCOS can feel.

If these recordings give you even a small sense of relief, understanding, or permission to feel what you feel — then they’re doing what I hoped they would.
